IonAway charges all day on its solar cell, and tops up by cable when sun is scarce, then keeps watch after dark, answering motion with randomized ultrasonic tones and an intermittent LED flash. Perimeter Sentry. One unit guards one way in.

NewFour Perimeter Sentry stakes placed around the lawn, beds and side path of a house
Four units, one per approach · the deployment this product is built for

Stake it where animals actually come in, not where the damage shows up. A motion sensor watches a cone of roughly 110 degrees in front of the unit, and when something crosses it, the Sentry answers with high-frequency sound waves and an LED flash for about 30 to 40 seconds, then goes quiet and waits. Because the response is tied to the entry itself, the spot stops reading as calm and predictable.

Motion triggered, forward facingIt watches a cone in front of it, so where you point it matters as much as where you put it. It does not see behind itself.
High-frequency sound plus an LED flashSound and light fire together on entry, then it returns to watching. Not a constant drone that fades into the background.
Built to be deployed in numbersOne unit closes one path. Three or four ring a property and close the routes a single unit leaves open. That is the honest reason the multipacks exist.

    Our story

We were tired of choosing between our garden and the birds.

After our founder Mara, an electrical engineer and lifelong gardener, found a songbird caught near a neighbor’s poison bait, she refused to accept that a pest-free yard had to be a cruel one.

Two years and 40 prototypes later, PestRay was born: solar-powered repellers that startle and redirect, never harm. Today we’ve helped protect more than 180,000 yards across the US and Canada, poison-free, and a real person on our team still reads every message you send.

    Before & after

Clear the ledge and keep it clear.

Drag to see one balcony before and after. Clean the spot once, clamp on the solar spinner, and the constant motion and scattered light keep pigeons from resettling.

Illustrative. PestRay is a humane deterrent. It discourages birds from returning rather than removing them, and it doesn’t do the cleanup. Results vary by placement and setting.

PestRay repliedThanks Dana, if the far corner of the yard still gets visitors, email me and I’ll send a low wall bracket to extend the placement. Mara, PestRay Team

The seven PestRay deterrents are humane deterrents, not pesticides, part of an integrated approach, not a guaranteed solution. The FlyLock line is the exception on this table: it is a trap, it captures and holds what it catches, and its own pages say so. Results vary by placement, local wildlife and how established the problem is. “Verified purchase” means the order was confirmed in our system.

    The PestRay line

Ten ways to take your space back.

These are traps, and they are for fruit flies. A scent lure and water go into the chamber, the flies are drawn in, and the trap holds what it catches. It is made to stand in a kitchen, beside the fruit bowl or the bin, and it hangs outdoors just as well. Everything under Outdoor and Indoor works the other way round and catches nothing. Two notes carried in full on each product page: the lure is not food and belongs out of reach of children, and outdoors a scent lure can attract bees as well as the insects you are aiming at, so keep a trap away from flowering plants and take it down while your garden is in bloom.

    Plan your setup

    How many do I need?

Each unit works on the spot where you place it, within line of sight. So most homes use several. Rather than expecting one device to blanket a whole property, place one per problem zone so every trouble spot has its own dedicated unit.

    One per roof run

    Rooftop Spinner

Works right along the line it sits on. Think one per roof run, ridge or ledge where birds land. A long roofline, a carport and a back patio cover are each their own spot; many homes use two or three.

    One per yard zone

    IonAway Yard Guardian

Aim each stake at one trouble spot, a garden bed, a fence corner, the edge of the deck, with a clear line of sight. Bigger or L-shaped yards usually use a few placed at the key corners.

    One per room

    Indoor Plug

Ultrasonic doesn’t pass through walls, so plan about one per room or zone, plugged in with a clear line of sight. Kitchen, garage, basement and each bedroom are separate zones, indoors, or outside with a covered outlet.

A 110 degree cone cannot cover a yard.

That is a limit of the optics, not a sales line. It is also the whole reason the pack tiers exist, so the guide says it plainly instead of implying coverage the hardware does not have.

    1

    One entry point

A single bed, a gate, one gap in a fence. Not a yard.

    2

    Two approaches

Front and back, or two sides animals actually use.

    3Most popular

    A compact yard

Three routes covered, with the gaps between them narrowed.

    4Best coverage

    A full perimeter

One per side or corner, so activity that shifts meets another sensor.

These are placement suggestions to help you plan, not coverage, performance or results guarantees. Each unit works on a limited, local spot within its line of sight, which is why most homes use more than one. Our devices are humane deterrents, not pesticides, and work best as part of an integrated approach; results vary. Multi-unit pricing reflects genuine everyday per-unit volume savings, no countdowns, no limited-stock gimmicks, and no inflated “regular” price.

Finally something that doesn’t look like a trap.

The pigeons used to own our balcony railing. Clamped the spinner on in a couple of minutes, it runs on the sun, and it just looks like a tidy little weather thing. Love that it’s not poison around the dog.
